My name is Ginny Bissell. I have been quilting since 1998. In 2002, a friend began to teach me to quilt on the long-arm machine.
My dream was to have a fabrics store where I could share my passion for fabrics and creating beautiful quilts with others. I moved to Arkansas in 2003 and made my dream a reality. My husband, Gary, built our Sew Kountry Fabrics store at the rear of our home in Clarksville, Arkansas.
We would love to show you our shop. Check out our locator map and come in to see us.
Since opening Sew Kountry Fabrics, I have made many new friends and have had lots of fun and great satisfaction sharing what I know and learning from others.
I met many enthusiastic quilters at the Johnson County Quilters Guild, where we talked and realized we shared the same passion for fabrics and quilting. Since then, we have been having a great time watching the store grow and seeing our circle of fabric-loving friends expand.
We enjoy teaching others and seeing the excitement and satisfaction as our new friends learn techniques and achieve their goals with finished projects. And it is delightful to be able to use the long-arm machine and learn new designs ourselves.
